Self-Saucing Chocolate Pudding
Self-Saucing Chocolate Pudding is a classic dessert that is a crowd favourite! Impress your guest with this delicious recipe from @whatspruecooking

Serves 4
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ Cup Almond Meal
- ½ Cup Self Raising Flour
- 1/3 Cup Cocoa
- 2 Eggs (lightly beaten)
- ¼ Cup Maple Syrup
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 60g Butter (melted)
- 40g Dark Chocolate (melted)
- 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
- ½ Cup Brown Sugar
- 350ml Boiling Water
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC and grease a square baking dish, 22cm x 22cm.
- Place the almond meal, flour, and cocoa into a medium sized bowl. Mix to combine.
- Add the eggs, maple syrup, and milk, and mix. Add the melted butter and chocolate and mix until combined. Transfer mixture into prepared dish and spread out evenly.
- Place the brown sugar and cocoa into a small bowl and mix to combine, removing any lumps of cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over the mixture. Gently pour the boiling water over the top – do not stir – and place into the oven.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy with ice cream or cream and some fresh berries.
