Chocolate Crinkles
Snack throughout the day or wrap and gift these tasty treats.

Makes 15 cookies
INGREDIENTS
- 180g plain flour, sifted
- 60g cocoa powder, sifted
- 200g caster sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 60ml vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 70g icing sugar, sifted
METHOD
- Preheat your oven to 190 C /170 C fan-forced and line two baking trays with greaseproof baking paper.
- In a bowl, whisk the cocoa, caster sugar and vegetable oil together. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking until fully combined.
- Stir the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt together in a separate bowl, then add to the cocoa mixture and mix by hand until a soft dough forms. Weigh out portions of the dough (approx 35g) then roll in icing sugar. Place on prepared baking trays well spaced and press down slightly with your palm to flatten.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, they will be quite soft when you take them out of the oven but firm up once cooled.
